Chandler Center for the Arts - Where the arts and community meet
Missy Raines - Friday, Mar. 8
Grammy-nominated Missy Raines was named 2021 International Bluegrass Music Association Bass Player of the Year, for the 10th time, more than any other bass player in the history of the organization. Missy Raines has proven herself without a doubt as an iconic bluegrass instrumentalist. This is a "Pay What You Can" event!
Perk Up Pianist - Sunday, Mar. 10
Often referred to as the next Victor Borge, Sarah Hagen has transformed her award-winning role as “concert pianist” into a stand-up, or rather, sit-down comedy. Pairing anecdotes from the road with some of her favorite pieces by Chopin, Debussy, and Liszt, Sarah takes audiences deep inside the world of a classical musician as she shares her earnest efforts to keep her spirits up amid troublesome times. Friday, Mar. 29 - We're bringing back the beloved mud season tradition, a great cure for the cabin fever that starts to strike in that season between winter and spring. TRICHROMANCY: Color Divination - Weaving the kaleidoscope of colors through fabric art, Fern Strong and Jeannie Catmull present a spectacular fiber arts exhibit. Immerse yourself in a world of vibrancy and energy as you explore the masterpieces of over 60 artists.
Art, etc.
ART, etc. presents their newest exhibits for February & March 2024 featuring the work of abstract artist Laura Di Piazza and printmaker Janet Cathey. This show features the creative, thoughtful, and exploratory side of each artist.
White River Craft Center
March art programming is in full swing at the White River Craft Center. Weekly programming for adults and youth alike, including a monthly workshop series with teaching artist Elliot Papp at Brainstorm Art Supply. Trust us, you don't want to miss out! The Underground - Listening Room - Friday, Mar. 8
Don’t miss this rockin’ night of local talent featuring two bands of high schoolers from VT. The Radiance will play a mix of rock and indie originals and covers, while Hard Copies will bring some grunge garage vibes. Tickets are $14 in advance, $17 at the door, and $10 for students. The Underground - Listening Room - Saturday, Mar. 23
Rock out with three awesome bands from Vermont at this BYOB event. Suburban Samurai will celebrate nine years of fast music for introverts, Better Things will make their comeback after a five-year break, and Vallory Falls will share their pop-punk emo tunes.
