Los Lorcas:
In the spirit of Federico Garcia Lorca—gifted musician, legendary poet/playwright and ebullient performer—poets Partridge Boswell and Peter Money, along with guitarist Nat Williams, fuse poetry and music in a passionate and surprising mash-up. Los Lorcas blur boundaries between spoken word and song, weaving poetry with Andalusian ballads, blues, rock, folk, reggae, hip hop, Americana and jazz in pursuit of the cante jondo (deep song) Lorca so ardently championed.

Partridge Boswell:
A troubadour of Roma and Luso-Sephardi descent, Partridge Boswell is the author of the Grolier Poetry Prize-winning collection Some Far Country. “Such desperate beauty in these poems,” remarks Marie Howe, “such rendered and willed surviving. Read this book if you want to remember what poetry can do to us, how it can find words for what can’t be said and shake us by our shoulders until we feel achingly alive again.” His writing has recently received the Edna St. Vincent Millay, Julia Darling Memorial, Words by Water, Bray Festival, Red Wheelbarrow, Gemini, Saguaro, and Lascaux Poetry Prizes, and surfaced in Poetry, The Gettysburg Review, Poetry Ireland Review, Salmagundi, The American Poetry Review, Green Mountains Review, Plume, Solstice, Prairie Schooner, Rattle, The Moth and Forklift, Ohio. His poems and essays have been anthologized in Roads Taken: Contemporary Vermont Poetry and Vermont Poets and Their Craft. Co-founder of Bookstock Literary Festival, Boswell is the recipient of fellowships from Vermont College of Fine Arts, University of New Orleans, Ireland’s Tyrone Guthrie Centre and Vermont Studio Center. He teaches at Burlington Writers Workshop, ArtisTree Community Arts Center and Vallum Society for Education in Arts & Letters in Montreal, and serves as an advisory trustee of the Grolier Poetry Foundation.

Oum Kamar:
Jennifer Grout shot to fame in the Arab world in 2013 when she was a finalist on Arabs Got Talent television contest in the 2013 competition. She grew up locally and attended the Longly School of Music, and recently has returned to the area and is a singer songwriter creating focusing on the creation of her own music under the name Oum Kamar.

Come check out the ongoing logging operation at the Sayward Town Forest. This will be an opportunity to see how a logging operation is planned and implemented. Derek Aldrighetti and his crew will be on site explaining how his machines work, how the trees are processed, where the logs are going and much more! If you have ever had a question for a logger this is great opportunity. AJ Follensbee Windsor/Orange County Forester will lead the walk. We will walk through some of the areas cut. He will explain why the forest looks the way its does and goals of the project. No registration is required to join the walk. We will cover around 1 mile. The terrain will be uneven as we will navigate some logging debris. Sturdy boots and snowshoes are recommended. The walk will start at the parking are   ...
