Jonny Hick and the Kickers:
Jonny Hick and the Kickers are a Vermont based band comprised of Franklin county natives. Jonny grew up on a small family dairy and maple farm in Highgate, Vermont, where his father introduced him to Bob Dylan, The Band, Johnny Cash, and Van Morrison who all remain heavy influences on him to this day. Jonny plays his take on a Travis picking style of guitar while singing original arrangements.

The Kickers, while also being local hicks, provide a contrast to Jonny's Americana/country style with varying indie influences of their own.

Kavita Shah is an award-winning vocalist, composer, researcher, and educator who makes work in deep engagement with the jazz tradition, while also addressing and advancing its global sensibilities. A lifelong New Yorker of Indian origin hailed for possessing an “amazing dexterity for musical languages” (NPR), Shah incorporates her ethnographic research on Brazilian, West African, and Indian musical traditions into her original repertoire. In September 2023, after seven years of immersing in the traditional mornas and coladeiras of her idol Cesária Évora on the Atlantic island of São Vicente with Évora's former musical director and virtuoso guitarist Bau, Shah released her latest album Cape Verdean Blues (Folkalist Records) which The Guardian has called “gorgeous” and The Ne   ...

As our journey ventures on so do life changes. OCM is back with a new lineup for this Halloween Show!

Welcome Bridget Labrie! She has graced the stage with OCM in the past adding beautiful harmonies to this indie groove rock sound! Now she will be lead vocals!

Welcome Wade Mullins on bass! Wade is an amazing bass player, good spirits, some cryptic and locked in bass grooves. The new OCM sound is going to be tight with this guy!

And Paul Picard on drums! Paul has also shared the stage with us as a fill in drummer for a few shows over the years. Paul is multi-musically talented man! From playing drums- guitar, lead vocals in other projects, he is also a great sound tech!

Hey it’s me Mathe ????? I love the OCM project and even with life changing and evolving, it felt right to keep this project and band alive!
