Posted August 26, 2024 by Jessamyn West

Randolph is a small town with a wealth of places to find quirky and interesting gifts, clothes, home goods and even the last little piece of hardware you need for your home project. All these thrift and vintage stores are locally owned and operated and most take donations too. Save money and treat yourself to something nice at one of these great stores.

Each card has a prepaid amount on it. If  you need, for example, work shoes, and you find a $15.00 pair but you don’t have an extra $15.00 to spend, you can pull a $15.00 card from the board and turn it in when you go to cash out.

Gifford Auxiliary Thrift Shop

The Gifford Medical Center Auxiliary was begun in 1906 as the Randolph Sanatorium Ladies Aid Society. They have been running the thrift shop since 1956. The money raised by the thrift shop supports Gifford Hospital, including the Robin’s Nest day care building. The Gifford Auxiliary also awards scholarships each year to area students entering healthcare related fields.

Not only does Gifford have clothes for adults and kids and a wide assortment of kitchen and crafting items, it has a loading dock where you can leave your gently used items that can then be made available for other members of the community. There's a big sign that shows what they do and do not take and Andy is always happy to give you more information.
