FREE family show by No Strings Marionette Company

This new and original free family-friendly show, sponsored by a creation grant from The Vermont Arts Council, pairs No Strings Marionette Company with composer Paul Perley. Marionettes, scenery, and musical compositions uniquely created to tell the tale of twins Quill and Foyle, who are about to set out to learn their life purpose. Sometimes the space between what we want and what we should do creates big problems!! The pair’s courage and determination develop connections to the natural world as they uncover layers about themselves they never knew existed.
A 45-minute show will be on Saturday, November 30, starting at 3 pm, followed by a demonstration, Q&A, and meet and greet with the composer, puppeteers, musicians, and puppets—plus a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus from 4-6 pm!

Christmas Singalong

After a successful and well-attended Pub Sing in November, the White River Valley Players are excited to announce a Christmas Singalong as the next “Friday Night Music” event in Rochester/Hancock. Free and open to all, the singalong will take place in the living room at Park House on Friday, December 6, from 6 to 7:30 pm and will feature both traditional Christmas carols and popular songs of the season.

All donations collected will benefit Charlie’s Loft, a short-term emergency housing space above Bethany Church’s parish house in Randolph.
