Here’s a few events happening during the month of February that will tickle your funny bone and satisfy your artistic cravings:

Join us for an orchestral extravaganza featuring Handel’s majestic Water Music. We'll transport you back to 1717 when this musical masterpiece was first performed on a barge in the Thames River. Get ready to immerse yourself in regal tunes fit for a king, accompanied by the extraordinary UVB soprano, Mary Bonhag. It’s like a royal party you won’t want to miss!

Chandler reopens our renovated hall with an opening matinee concert. Free for kids under 12. Where classical music meets Korean tradition, CelloGayageum's goal and passion is to not only perform music to a broad audience, but also to serve as cultural ambassadors presenting the traditional music culture of South Korea to the whole world. We're incredibly lucky to have them grace our town with their talent, so mark your calendars!

Prepare for an evening of art, performance, and thought-provoking conversations as Myra Flynn, host of the famous podcast "Homegoings: A righteous space for art and race," takes the stage. Expect a stellar lineup of artists, including Matthew Evan Taylor, Marissa Herrara, Kiah Morris, and Ash Diggs. It’s a night of creativity and inspiration that will leave you buzzing with excitement!

People’s Gallery – Open Studio for Play and Exploration - Fridays 4-7 pm, Sat/Sun 12 pm-5 pm

Cherie Landi opens her studio doors for both visitors and creators. Unleash your inner artist and get hands-on with materials and tools. It’s a place where magic happens, friendships are formed, and creativity knows no bounds.

Third Branch Pottery Public Gallery – Opening Reception, Feb. 2 from 5-7 pm

Molly Mullens and Bridget Markis showcase their captivating photography in this breathtaking exhibit. Get ready to be transported through their lens, capturing moments that tug at your heartstrings.

February art programming is in full swing at the White River Craft Center. Weekly programming for adults and youth alike, including a monthly workshop series with teaching artist Elliot Papp at Brainstorm Art Supply.
